- Confirm the scope, site, timing, rate, payment terms and who controls the work.
- Check the specific identity, experience, licences, registrations and insurance relevant to that work.
- Discuss access, hazards, weather, fall protection, supervision and emergency arrangements before arrival.
Protect customers
Keep names, phone numbers and exact addresses out of public listings. Use a suburb and a safe scope summary until the appropriate business request is accepted and the required checks are complete.
Materials
- Confirm product, profile, colour, quantity, condition and date or batch code.
- Inspect before payment or installation and follow manufacturer requirements.
- Agree collection, loading and delivery responsibilities in advance.
Verification means a specific check
Look at each badge separately. “Identity verified”, “ABN verified” and “public liability verified” are different checks. No badge replaces your own assessment for the particular job.
Problems
Do not proceed if details feel inconsistent, unsafe or pressured. Preserve messages and job records. For immediate danger call 000; for workplace safety issues use the appropriate Victorian authority. Report marketplace concerns through the public CrewJunction support form.
