Hire crew: bring in extra workers for your job.
Subcontract all or part: keep the customer and hire another business to do the agreed work. The customer pays you; you pay the subbie. Your customer price stays private, while your subbie budget is shown on the listing.
Pass on the job: refer it to another business to quote, do the work and deal with the customer. Choose free, a fixed referral fee or a percentage.
A roof tiler can find a metal roof plumber for gutters or sheet roofing. A metal roof plumber can find a roof tiler for tile repairs or repointing. Both trades can give and receive work.
How referral fees work
Set the fee, when it is due and what happens if the job falls through. The other business accepts the terms before you approve the handover. Both sides can save a copy in My connections.
For example, agree $200 for passing on a job, or 5% of the money collected for the referred work, excluding GST and refunds. These are examples; you choose your own fee.
Pay each other directly. CrewJunction does not collect or guarantee referral payments, and charges no platform fee during launch.
How urgent cover works
Choose the job suburb, date and trade. We check published availability and both travel limits, then show the nearest matching suburb first. Send a cover request and use private messages in My connections to agree the work, price and start time.
Distances are approximate suburb-to-suburb distances. A listed day free is not a confirmed booking.
Check who you’re working with
Profiles show which details have been checked. Confirm the skills, insurance and any registration needed for your job. Customer details on jobs being passed on or subcontracted are only shown to businesses that pass the required checks.
