Privacy at CrewJunction

This notice explains what CrewJunction collects, why it is used and what stays protected when roofers connect.

Public founding beta · effective 21 October 2026

Information we collect

We may collect account identifiers supplied by the sign-in service, profile and business details, public listing content, availability, saved alerts, connection requests, completion confirmations and product usage events. Verification documents, including Certificates of Currency, are stored separately from public profiles.

Signing in

Supabase processes member authentication. When you choose Google or Apple, the provider shares an account identifier, name and email with CrewJunction. Sign-in cookies keep your session active. We do not receive your provider password or access to your inbox. Sign-in methods are available only when shown on the join page.

For email or mobile sign-in, your address or mobile number is sent to our authentication and delivery providers to deliver a one-time code. A private browser cookie holds the pending contact and return page for up to 15 minutes. Short-lived counters based on hashed contact and network addresses limit repeated attempts; expired counters are removed on subsequent sign-in attempts. These counters do not store the sign-in code. Your full sign-in mobile number is not displayed on public marketplace pages.

How we use it

We use this information to operate the marketplace, attribute listings and responses, protect customer details, review verification submissions, prevent misuse, improve matching and measure whether real trade connections are completed.

Required member details

Members must provide a name and Australian mobile number to finish joining and use the marketplace. Your name identifies you in profiles and conversations. Your mobile number is stored separately from public profiles and is available only to you and authorised CrewJunction administrators for account support and marketplace safety. It is not automatically shared with other members. Providing it does not verify the number or subscribe you to SMS alerts or marketing.

What is public

Published worker availability and listing summaries may be visible on public, shareable pages. Exact customer identities, precise site addresses, policy numbers and uploaded verification documents are not displayed publicly. Business opportunity details are released only through the protected workflow.

Nearby matching and private requests

Nearby matching uses the home suburb, travel distance and availability you publish. It does not track your live location. Cover requests save the job suburb, trade, date and time. Messages in a crew request are visible to the two members in that connection. Referral handovers save the accepted fee terms and acceptance times. A poster’s customer price is excluded from public listings and other members’ views.

Sharing and service providers

CrewJunction does not sell profile or verification information. Information may be processed by hosting, storage, authentication and security providers needed to run the service, or disclosed where required by law. When a connection is accepted, members choose what further contact and contracting information to exchange.

Founding-access and support requests

If you leave an email address or mobile number, CrewJunction uses it only to respond to your request, provide access updates and communicate about the founding beta. It is not sold to third parties.

Access, correction and deletion

Members may ask to access or correct their information and request account or listing deletion, subject to records CrewJunction reasonably needs for safety, disputes or legal obligations. Use the public CrewJunction support form for these requests.

Retention and security

CrewJunction keeps information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes above, marketplace safety records and applicable obligations. No online service is risk-free; access controls, private document storage and server-side authorisation are used to reduce exposure.
